제로 마일리지는 CZero DAO의 성과 지표이자 보상 지표입니다. CZero DAO의 탄소 감축 프로젝트의 총 탄소 감축량과 제로 마일리지는 상관 관계에 놓여 있습니다.
총 온실가스 감축량 0.00045941 tCO2eq 당 0.1의 제로 마일리지가 생성됩니다.
한국에너지공단에 따르면 1MWp 설비용량의 태양광 발전소를 통해 감축할 수 있는 온실가스는 연간 약 612.653tCO2eq 정도로 이 태양광 설비의 수 명을 25년으로 잡으면 발전소 운영 기간 동안 감축하는 이산화탄소는 총 15,316tCO2eq에 이르는데 이를 국립산림과학원이 발표한 소나무 한 그루의 연평균 이산화탄소 흡수량을 기준으로 계산해 보면, 태양광 발전소 1MW의 이산화탄소 감축 효과가 260,703그루의 소나무와 맞먹는 수준이라는 것을 알 수 있습니다.
제로 마일리지는 CZero Pay 토큰과 1:1 교환(Swap), 탄소중립 활동을 위한 기부, CZero 친환경 제품 구매, 전기차 충전소 등 CZero 가맹점 등에서 사용 가능합니다.
